ABTOT – Financial protection for tours without flights
Edwin Doran Sports Tours is a trading name of TTSS Limited, a member of ABTOT (Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust). This means that, in the unlikely event of insolvency, payments for sports tours without flights are protected. Our ABTOT number is 5724.
ATOL – Financial protection for flight-inclusive tours
For all flight-inclusive packages, ATOL (Air Travel Organiser’s Licence) gives schools, clubs and parents confidence that, in the unlikely event of insolvency, their tour is protected, including repatriation where required. Our ATOL number is 9992.
ABTA – Membership and high service standards
Edwin Doran Sports Tours is a proud member of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents), so your group benefits from the high level of service ABTA members are required to provide, and the protection of ABTA’s Code of Conduct. Our ABTA number is Y2475
Learning Outside the Classroom
The Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge recognises providers who offer high-quality learning experiences beyond the classroom. Do you provide risk assessments?
We can provide information to help you complete your specific risk assessment. Please speak to your Tour Operator regarding any risk assessment queries you might have. As a fully assured member of the School Travel Forum (STF) our health and safety assessments meet the requirements of the STF. We also hold the LOtC Quality Badge.
Do we need travel insurance?
Yes. We provide travel insurance in partnership with Endsleigh Insurance which offers a policy specifically designed for your tour itinerary.
What happens if I cancel a passenger(s)?
You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be given and the cancellation will be effective from the date it is received. Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges shown below:
