High Profile Announcement: Pamela Cookey joins Edwin Doran MasterClass at the GSA
We are thrilled to announce Pamela Cookey, England netball Captain and Team Bath attacker has been confirmed as our second High Profile coach at the 2014 GSA netball weekend.
Cookey’s netballing career, from her junior days at Team Bath, during which time they won the Superleague titles in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010, to gracing the international stage, is one of the most inspiring stories of our generation. She spent a season at Surrey Storm before wearing the blue and yellow Team Bath colours once again and is widely recognised as one of the worlds’s best attacking players.
Who better to share their netball journey with our girls than the current England Netball Captain!
Pamela joins Amanda Newton, former England Netball Captain, and Edwin Doran MasterClass coach for the coveted 2014 netballing event which sold out in just two months. The ladies international netball experience and knowledge will help both students and teachers.

The GSA Netball Tournament, operated by Edwin Doran MasterClass, provides year 8 and year 9 girls with the opportunity to shine as individuals and strengthen as a team. The off-site, intensive two day netball tournament, allows for members of the GSA to compete against each other on court, whilst bond off. The girls will also have the chance to receive tips and support from elite netballers, participate in on-site team building activities, and enjoy the evening entertainment. With the weekend being held in the beautiful and secure location of Condover Hall, Shrewsbury, this popular netball event sells out year after year. Edwin Doran MasterClass’s support for English Netball, at all levels, goes hand in hand with their commitment to providing a variety of sports coaching events for school and youth groups to exciting European destinations.
