The girls had an absolutely amazing trip to the point that they cannot identify the best moment of the tour or the highlight of the trip. It was one incredible experience followed by the next. The girls have been inspired by watching two fantastic college games, playing against American opposition, and attending the Orlando Magic Camp. The girls have come back to school determined to improve and develop their skills further!
This trip was advertised as a tailor made tour and Edwin Doran certainly delivered in all facets. All our hockey needs were catered for to an exceptional standard and having access to a training base with such fantastic facilities ensured the players experienced what high performance is all about.
A member of the Edwin Doran team was always available to chat should we need any details changed on short notice. The face-to-face meeting eight months before departure was a real help and showed how much personal attention Edwin Doran pay to each tour they put together. From then on the rest seemed easy and it was nice knowing who was on the end of the phone or replying to the emails. What we wanted as a group for the hockey side was achieved in terms of facilities and opposition. The boys had a great experience and would have stayed out there longer. If you are looking for a short haul trip for hockey then I would recommend Barcelona.
Everything was very well planned before departure which meant everything ran smoothly. Hosting went very well and the hotels were centrally located. The places visited meant that there was a great variety of experiences between cities and countryside. It is great meeting people from other countries and sharing friendships.
Edwin Doran provided us with a fantastic experience for our first tour. I had many questions which Andrew and his staff, were able to answer, which allowed me to feel confident to take our girls safely on a long haul tour. Edwin Doran has people on the ground in Barbados which made our job very easy when we were there. We played high standard netball games and experienced the full culture of the island, as well as enjoying some very exciting activities such as snorkelling with the turtles. A great trip!

An excellent tour! The Spanish tennis coaches were superb and really developed our girls' skills throughout the week. All aspects of the tour ran very smoothly.
The planning was very thorough throughout and personal requests were responded to most positively and fitted into the schedule. When we needed assistance during the tour it was there at the drop of a hat - which is invaluable. Both South Africa, and in particular Swaziland, offered a huge range of cultural experiences for the group, all of which complimented the rugby extremely well. The Accommodation was excellent, and the exchange rate made eating out very cheap.

We recently toured Sri Lanka as our first long haul cricket tour. The entire experience was fantastic. The organisation from Edwin Doran as well as the operation of the ground staff were first class. Sri Lanka is a magical place of beautiful scenery and picturesque cricket grounds. Our time in Sri Lanka was one that we will never forget and look forward to going on again soon.
