I joined the team in January 2014 after enduring 6 whole years at university (and still going) finishing my undergraduate degree in sports coaching and continuing onto my Master’s degree also in sports coaching at University of Gloucestershire. Throughout the year I like to try my hand at many sports including gymnastics, cheerleading, hockey, tag rugby, rounder’s and anything that I can. But my main sports are netball and the new craze of Crossfit.
I had previously worked for a student travel company in the resort of Lloret De Mar over the Easter holidays across a 4 year period. This involved organizing a netball tournament, running hotels making sure all the students were safe and the occasional party. When the opportunity to work at Gullivers came up I jumped at the chance. What better way is there to travel than as part of your job whilst creating the once in a lifetime tours for sports teams across the UK? During my time at Gullivers, I have had the chance to drive across Holland and Belgium and was lucky enough to be a part of the Six Nations team for Wales vs England. I am looking forward to more exciting opportunities to come including the West Indies Cricket Tour and Belgium Grand Prix.
Growing up I was lucky enough to visit a vast array of countries including Barbados, Cuba, Malta, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Egypt and Turkey as well as Spain, Austria and France. I hope that whilst working for Gullivers I will not only be able to visit these countries again but also add to the ever growing list. Whilst travelling with us just remember, if you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might be better off staying at home.
