I was born in South Africa and following a career in the pharmaceutical industry, I made my home in the UK.  Marriage and the birth of our daughter followed, and then I started to work from home for the Institute of Directors part-time.  As time went on and I was able to devote more time to work, I spent some years in schools administration and other organisations.

I love sport, travel, theatre and cooking/eating! My travels have taken me far and wide, but my best times have been spent in the African bush. My last trip down south took us to Namibia, which was a definite highlight in my bush experiences.

Most satisfying moments  working for EDST:  I am enjoying being able to experience the delights of travel every day from my desk!

All-time favourite sporting moment: Although I love watching sport on TV, my all time favourite sporting moment was being present at the 1982 Wimbledon Mens final when Jimmy Connors beat John McEnroe.

"We are a company offering experiences and when Robyn applied, not only could I see that her commerical experience would be valuable to us, but also that as the mother of a young lady travelling on one of our tours this summer, this presented us with a unique situation for us to learn from that important parental aspect.  She also seems to be enjoying herself trying to convert us to Rooibos tea."   Edwin Doran
