Tour Operator ~ Twickenham

I’m completely new to the travel and sports world but have been bowled over by the enthusiasm and commitment of the staff here.  Having worked in publishing, PR and property all my life it’s about time I had a bit of a change and look forward to rising to the challenge. 

My scant sporting knowledge comes from my three boys; my daughter is more of a dance and drama type.  I’ve fond memories of bleak, windswept rugby pitches and frozen knots of parents screaming lustily as 15 little boys swarm around the ball like flies on a doughnut!  As they’ve grown older their rugby seems to revolve more around a pub and wide screen these days but they are no less enthusiastic and it is so very contagious.

I enjoyed hockey at school but my real love is ballet and I can still manage a mean double pirouette – especially after a glass or two of pinot!!  I also run regularly along the river and work out at the gym where I also love to iron out the kinks with a pilates class.

All time favourite sporting moment: Other than that kick by Jonny I guess it must be watching Sir Steve Redgrave win his fifth consecutive gold Olympic medal and the emotional, ensuing man hug.

Most satisfying experience working for EDT: Apart from surviving the first month and still smiling I suppose it must be managing to coax 30 hugging, kissing Argentinean musicians through the departure gate just in time for their flight.
