I run our newly-formed incoming groups department.  Sports, music, cultural and study tours come to us mainly from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and South Africa.  We look after all their ground arrangements and add-on flights when tours add another European destination after their time in the UK.

After college, I worked for Avon Overseas, the cosmetics giant, and then spent 10 years in public relations before having children.  My son is currently in his last year at Durham University and my daughter is working in London during her gap year.

Sportswise, I regularly visit the gym where I enjoy stress-busting body combat and attack classes or relaxation in the spa.  I also enjoy walking holidays, skiing and badminton.  I follow the fortunes of the England rugby team and it was a special moment watching the World Cup Final in 2003.

My all time favourite sporting moment:  England winning the 2003 rugby World Cup and watching my son win his category at the National Schools' Regatta.

Most satisfying experience working for EDT:  A choral tour from Australia to Salzburg when the choir was totally overcome with emotion at the beauty of the candlelit church and the reception from the audience!  

You don't hear much out of Carol - that does not mean she doesn't have an opinion though! She comes in and immediately makes for her desk. For the rest of the working day, she has her head down working. Meticulous in everything she does; extremely conscientious and totally dedicated to the successful operation of all her tours.   Edwin
