Stamford School enjoy the craic
[06-11-2008]
From David Laventure, master in charge of rugby at Stamford School
"Stamford School enjoyed another fine Edwin Doran Tour. Rugby playing members of the Upper VI refused to take it easy and embarked on their traditional tour of Ireland during half term. Both the A and B squad returned battered and bruised having lost to Castlebar and Ballynahinch but having beaten Westport and Ballinasloe RFC. In a unique first, the squad broke with tradition and donned bright pink and blue as their tour kit supporting Cancer Research UK. Not only did they turn heads but looked rather stylish on their way to raising over £500 for the charity."
