Founded in 2003, the School Travel Forum is a democratic, not for profit organisation of leading school tour operators that promotes good practice and safety in school travel.
All Assured Members of the STF are required to adhere to a rigorous Code of Practice and Safety Management Standards and be audited each year by Argent Health & Safety, the UK’s leading Health and Safety Consultancy specialising in Travel, to ensure continuing compliance.
Edwin Doran Sports Tours Managing Director, Sam Seward commented:
"As the 40 year market leader in School Sports Tours, EDST have always placed customer safety and service above all other things, so joining the STF was really a very natural step for us and we're very proud to be involved. I'd like to thank my fantastic operations team and our huge portfolio of (often exclusive) accommodations, billeting providers, local agents, transportation suppliers and other providers for their support in ensuring our compliance with the STF's stringent standards. Our achieving Assured Member Status of the STF is further evidence of our ongoing commitment to not only providing the best possible sports touring experiences but to the safest possible tours too."
